Hi everyone, happy Tuesday to you!
Today we are making super cute (or ugly) monster bookmarks. I think these are prefect for this time of year when all the little one’s are going back to school!
These are so fun. I just used construction paper, copy paper, black crayon and a glue stick.
For the bookmark itself, you do want to use thin paper. I cut a square to 6 x 6. I traces the glue stick lid for the eyes and cut some scraggly teeth.
These are great also for encouraging little one’s to read and get them excited about getting into a book. Wouldn’t you want to read a book if you had this awesome bookmark?
To make this more adult like~~you can use really pretty wrapping paper. Great to give as gift with a good book!
Hope you all have a Terrific Tuesday.

Stacy, these bookmarks are near and dear to my heart. I remember making some similar to yours, (not as adorable) for my grandkids when they were younger. They loved them. Actually, I think they would still enjoy and get a kick out of a set. Thanks for the trip down memory lane and a great idea for a gift along with some books to include journals. You rock!!!
