Hi Everyone, happy Tuesday to you! Hopefully you are having a great day. Today we are making a really easy back of school bus picture frame.
Don’t Harley and Dyna look so cute? Here is a closer look at the cuteness!
All of the supplies for this frame you can pick up at the dollar store (♥)
You will need:
8 Jumbo Craft Sticks
Silver Paint (I just mixed white & black together)
Glue (I used tacky glue)
Red Gems or Big Red Buttons
Start off by painting 6 sticks yellow, 1 black and 1 silver. (I painted just one side) Set aside to dry. Little ones can use markers or crayons instead of paint. Place 2 yellow sticks parallel to each other. Glue a yellow stick to the top of these sticks and a silver stick to the bottom. (basically creating a square). Add 2 more yellow sticks above the silver and one below the yellow from the top.
Cut the black stick in half and glue on back side of the bus to create the tires. Add the gems or buttons to create tail lights. For the license plate, I cut a piece of card stock 1 x 2 and used a marker to draw on the school year. You can put the school name here, child’s name or back to school.
This holds a 4 x 5 photo. I just taped it to the back of the frame so it wasn’t permanently attached, making it reusable year after year.
Optional ideas: Use yarn or string to make it a hanging picture frame or place magnet strips on the back to use on the fridge!
Hope all of you have a Terrific Tuesday.
