Hi Everyone Happy Wednesday To You!
Today I want to share a really fun card with you!
I made this into a birthday card, but I think it is great for any occasion.
Here is a closer look at it:
This sunflower stamp is so much fun to work with. You can use this in so many ways.
Here is what I used:
White Cardstock: 4.25 x 11 (score at 5.5)
White Cardstock: 2 at 3.75 x 5 (plus scrap)
Brown Cardstock: 2 at 4 x 5.25 (plus scrap)
Here is how I did it:
Use your bone folder to crease the cardstock base. Attach the 2 brown pieces (4 x 5.25) One to the inside and one on the outside using Art Glitter Glue.
On one of the white (3.75 x 5) pieces, stamp the stems (and the leaves) for the flowers using green ink (be sure to leave room for the flowers). Stamp the greeting “Just a note to say” with brown ink towards the top left. Stamp the flower twice with black memento ink on the scrap of white cardstock. (I used the larger flower). Color in with the Canary marker. Cut both flowers out using scissors.
Stamp the center of the flower twice on the scrap of brown cardstock, be sure to include the patchy part of the center. Cut both of these out.
To create the split in the card: line up the left side of the card (this is the top) in a trimmer and cut at 3.75 inches. Take the leftover piece (which is the bottom) and cut to 1 inch.
Attach both of these pieces to the brown piece on the front of the card as shown. Using brown ink stamp “Happy birthday” on the bottom section. Take the bone folder and curl the flowers outward a bit. Glue these to the front of the card using Art Glitter Glue. Attach foam squares to the back of the middle pieces and adhere to the flower.
For the inside of the card, I stamped a leaf in the bottom right corner of the other white (3.75 x 5) piece and attached it to the brown piece on the inside.
Hope you enjoy and have a Wonderful Wednesday. Hugs, Stacy ♥
