Hi Everyone Happy Tuesday To You!
Today’s craft for the little one’s might require the help of a grown up! We are making these really cute sensory sacks or whacky sacks!
Aren’t these cute? This is just a balloon filled with Playdoh! Then added a face by using a permanent marker.
I was able to get a 4 pack of Playdoh from the Dollar Tree for only $3.00, the balloons were $1.00. I highly recommend the larger balloons for this, as it makes filling them much easier.
Here is how I filled the balloons:
I first took the balloon and stretched it out a little bit and then I blew it up (again for stretching purposes). I used about 1/3 of a container of Playdoh for each balloon.
Have the little one’s roll out the Playdoh into little snakes (tubes). The grown up will take the opening of the balloon and wrap it around the bottom of a funnel. I used a funnel I had, but you can get these from the Dollar Tree as well!
Flip the funnel over and drop in the Playdoh snakes 🙂 I also used the end of a wooden spoon to help the Playdoh go down into the balloon. If you find it getting hard to get the Playdoh into the balloon, take the balloon off of the funnel and blow it back up again to get air into it. Keep filling up the balloon to your desired size (again I used about 1/3 of a container) Take the balloon off the funnel and tie into a knot. Use a permanent marker to draw on the faces.
These are great to help the little one’s relax and relieve some stress.
I hope all of you have a Terrific Tuesday. Hugs, Stacy ♥
