Hi Everyone Happy Tuesday To You!
Today’s craft is a lot of fun for the little ones and makes a great decoration or a gift!
Isn’t that darling?
All ya need is a clay pot, paint, string, beads and fingers. I created the butterflies using my pointy finger, dipped in paint and then pressed on the pot to form an x shape. When that is all dry, I took a black marker and drew in the body and antenna. I used a pencil eraser for the white spots and a pencil point for the white dots on the butterflies.
Now the beads! I used pony beads and jute twine. You need extra twine than you think, about 3 feet per strand, I used 3 strands. First tie a knot at the bottom of the twine to hold the beads and then just thread them through. (about 40 or so beads per strand). Gather all three strands and tie the top into a knot, you want the knot to be as close to the beads as possible. Thread the other ends of the strands up through the pot, create a loop and tie into a knot! Wala!
Other finger print ideas: hearts, caterpillars, ladybugs or just dots.
Here is the other one I made:
This one looks like orange ladybugs 🙂 As you can tell, I did not master the butterfly shape very well. But that is what makes this fun. There are no mistakes in crafting.
Hope all of you have a Totally Terrific Tuesday. Hugs, Stacy ♥
