Hi Everyone Happy Tuesday To You!
Today, the little one’s are creating super easy ornaments.
A snowman and a reindeer. Love these.
I got a two pack of plastic ornaments from the Dollar Tree. So it is a cheap craft too. Everything else you need you can also find at a dollar store.
For the snowman:
I filled with the faux snow. Used a marker for the eyes and mouth and felt for the nose. I cut a pipe cleaner in half and used a hot glue gun to attach the pom poms to the end of the pipe cleaner to create the ear muffs. I added some twine to hang on the tree.
For the reindeer:
I cut a brown lunch bag into strips, crumbled them up to fill the reindeer. (I used a pencil to help push it down into the ornament). I used a hot glue gun to attach googly eyes and the pom pom nose. I took a brown pipe cleaner cut in half and twisted it around the top of the ornament. I cut the other half of the pipe cleaner in half again to create the antlers on both sides just by twisting the pipe cleaner. Finished it up by adding some twine for a hanger.
These make super cute ornaments for the little one’s to make, a great keepsake for mom & dad, or a great gift for the grandparents. You can also use a marker to date the back or just attach a label to the back with the date on it.
Note: I used a hot glue gun for video purposed but you can also use a strong tacky glue.
I hope all of you have a Terrific Tuesday. Hugs, Stacy
