Hi everyone Happy Tuesday To You!
Today, the little ones can create a super easy sensory bottle, which is basically a glitter bottle.
I remember making these for my son when he was younger. They are great to use to help them calm down, to look at, or even to use as a bedtime bottle. Looks great at nighttime with a battery operated tea light behind it.
The containers I used are just the travel size shampoo bottles you can pick up at the dollar store. Make sure you get plastic containers that have a screw on lid (I just screwed mine on, but you can also glue the lid on)
How to make:
I filled the bottle about 3/4 of the way full with clear corn syrup. I added a little bit of silver glitter to the corn syrup. In a separate container, I had a little bit of water. To the water I added some food coloring. Once the food coloring/water mixture was mixed well, I added it to the corn syrup. Screwed on the cap and gave it a good shake!
If you look on Pinterest, there are many ways to make these. (equal parts of baby oil & water) (liquid glitter glue to water) I chose the corn syrup method. I think this works better because the corn syrup is really thick and does not separate as quickly as the others.
Hope you all have a Terrific Tuesday. Hugs, Stacy ♥
